Thirty Under Thirty is part open house, part workshop, and is Risolana’s most *affordable entry point for both seasoned veterans and newcomers to riso! We have riso technicians help you fine-tune your drawings, digital illustrations, photographs, and text to suit the medium, and give you helpful tips to remember for future riso prints.
In the spirit of resolana, we believe there is so much to learn from helping and observing one another. We encourage guests to stay after their print to watch others work, learn design and print skills from one another, and get inspired from one another in a fun, communal learning environment.
Every 30th of the month, participants can sign up for a thirty minute time slot in which they may print 30 copies of an 11x17in (or smaller) 1-2 color print of their choice. Upon receiving prints, we ask for a $30 suggested donation to cover materials and maintenance of the studio.
Submissions for each month’s 30/30 typically open on the 20th of the month. You can sign up at the following Google Form link. If the form is closed for submissions, it is likely that month’s event is either at capacity or has not been opened yet.

Risolana Artist in Residence Jacob Gutierrez will be in the studio every Sunday (excluding December 21st) for Sacred Herd Gallery Hours as he assembles and binds the final editions of Sacred Herd. Visit Risolana to meet the artist and see this unique show while it is still on display!
